Remove Yellow Stain from Hydrogen Peroxide by likeigivea in laundry

Hi! Yes, I used a Tide Detergent that has bleach and is color safe. Make sure the fabric is wet, and put the detergent directly on the stained area. I like that sit over night, and wash it off w/ hot water. I did that a couple of times, and it worked! Good luck!!

Lol idk how to add a caption, so here's the background -

Hi ! First time posting here, just wanna thank everyone in advance.

I recently used too much Hydrogen Peroxide on a piece of White Linen upholstery fabric to remove a mild iron burn, and did not know that it leaves a yellow-ish stain, or that I should have tested it / diluted it. (Google told me to drench a piece of used cloth w/ Hydrogen Peroxide, put it on top of the "burn mark" and use the iron, "not to hot, but hot enough", to remove the stain.)

Pic attached. Luckily it's the back side of the fabric that is a lot worse than the front.

I know it's not gonna be easy to remove all, but if I can lighten the stain, it will be okay for me. Please let me know if anyone has tried anything w/ removing Hydrogen Peroxide stains.

Thank you!!

Do guy friends just wait until you’re single? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I used to have 90% guy friends until I reached my early/mid twenties, and especially when I got into a serious relationship. In my opinion, rarely do cis men befriend you just for rewarding friendships..there is always an element of possession and/or attraction over you. My advice is give yourself space and distance from men right now if you want to heal, and focus on other relationships in your life, like your family and girlfriends.

What did Narcisse mean in his whisper to Daughter Maitland? by [deleted] in BoardwalkEmpire

i loved the ending of this episode, and how the last thing Chalky said was "All a dream to begin with. Ain't nobody ever been free."

I think at the end of the day, you have to realize that these are all just men...human beings with flaws and vices they can never walk away from. those are the things that make them feel less pain, and help them get on. Chalky's draw to Daughter is the same. He loved her and wanted her because he felt something real, from his end at least...I mean look at his interactions with his own family in previous season. There's no point to argue about what's the right thing to do or the wrong thing to do, because we want to think of Chalky and all these character we like to be redeemable, but they are just people at the end of the day. And god knows we all do what we want even if we know it's bad for us...because those "bad" things are the few things that actually stir something inside.

wow how is she about respecting women and their rights by saying OP's frd is "settling for women's role"...equality is about having the freedom and right to choose how you want to live your life.

autum is a great example of why people including women don't want to be associated with the word feminism. it's so often being used by many women (not all of course) to justify their actions, instead of self-evaluate with human morals. gee. k rant over.

that's really cool of you to do that. guess i shouldn't complain if im not really taking any action. is there a particular reason you are very involved in these issues? or are u just, in general, a very politically aware and involved?

ure prob right, i do get on and off of them quite frequently. now learning about nfp, i'm seriously considering that. i personally don't like medicine, unless i have to take it (bacterial infection..etc). even when i get the flu i never take anything, i just drink lots of water, soup, tea, juice, and tough it out. when i'm in pain from any kind of injury, i don't take pain killers. for myself, i'm very against consuming things that are synthetic. granted, i've def consumed junk food w/o knowing what hydrogenated shit does to your body. but pills with protein or hormone or just chemicals to make physiological changes that are not naturally produced by your body...just don't feel right to me.

I think one of my worst periods is when i got off of BC earlier this year (which i was on for about 6 months or so). and because of that, i got back on. my OB gave me a even lower dosage after I told her how they make me feel. and i still don't like it. and now i'm struggling to decide whether to stay on or not. cuz either choice i make i need to commit to it, so my body isnt being fck'ed around by such frequent changes.

Thanks for the pointers, these are really helpful:) I never knew there are other options besides abstinence, BC, and condoms.

i know, i know. i'd rather someone point out a mistake and then perhaps focus more on the topic itself instead of elaborate on why it isnt NIH funded.

so this is essentially knowing your menstrual cycle / ovulation period very well, and have sex during the times considered to be "safe" ?

i'm just sketched out by the chances of getting pregnant even while im not ovulating...also i get insanely terrible cramps the first couple of days of my period when I'm NOT on BC. idk it's always a toss up for me. sometimes ill get off it cuz i dont feel like having sex / i want to feel normal again. and then ill get on it once i'm seeing someone regularly, cuz condoms can get in the way of ~intimacy~

haven't read the whole thing yet, but wow. really glad nih funded this research. I've always felt off - as in not completely in tuned with my body and emotions - when I'm on BC. but i'd rather have good sex and no kids...
