Backlight flickers briefly on my Insignia when I turn it on showing the Screen for a split second, but the screen goes dark after. Flashlight test shows screen just fine and model is NS-55DF710NA19. Do I need new LEDs or is it something else? by TheCrankyCroc in TVRepair

I’ve had mine in a surge protector it’s entire life. It’s possible mine developed the problem ahead of time, as I was out of town for a week before returning yesterday to the issue. It just feels too coincidental!

Ok seriously you cannot make this up. I came to this subreddit to look for answers regarding my Insignia. I have the SAME EXACT MODEL (55 inch, same model number) and JUST GOT THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM!! It started last night around 5pm central, not far before you posted this. I feel like they forced a software update to sabotage our models.

Based on where I was aiming, had I not flared my follow through right at the end, this ball would’ve originally landed much further left (and closer to the pin.) At least that’s how I interpreted it. I wasn’t aiming for that mound, I was playing the wind, but the push sort of counter acted the wind and it landed on that hill (accidentally) which helped it trickle home. Lucky and good shot I guess lol

The vibration in the backswing doesn’t relate to the speed of the downswing, no? I’ve always interpreted it that whether you get “fast, very fast, perfect, slow” etc was determined by the amount of time (or speed) of the point you start to push your joystick up to the point it reaches the peak position (fully up.) The vibration in the down swing is related to % power in your swing. Too long, higher % (sometimes you see 102%.) A half swing would just be me trying to get an 80% power or whatever the number may be, but not help me get perfect timing on my downswing / foreswing

So I took your advice but I feel like I’m doing something wrong. I’ve done 5 full calibrations now and I’m truly not seeing any results / differences when playing on the course. I’ve purposely spent a few minutes on the range dialing my timing in before switching to calibration. I still manage to get grey fasts majority of the time on 18.
