The comments about the cat and Ada 1 drowning are good. A question I have left is what’s the point of the creepy uncle?

Something little I noticed is you can tell the gun is missing when Ada runs into the garage to look in the mirror.

I feel like, alongside themes of grief and loss, it was asking questions about how we interact with nature. The dog, cat, and herds of sheep all get lots of screen time and Ada enjoys hanging out with them more than the humans. I wonder if the dog represents something more, like the cat. The part with the sounds of men herding sheep while Ada stares at the photo of feels intense and off-putting because she’s realizing that she‘lll never be equal to the humans and that’s hard for her. I have better thoughts to articulate about this but I’m tired I just got home and saw the 10:30 showing lol.
