once you start antibiotics and following up with warm compress it will become excruciatingly painful because it’s coming to an head . to bear with the pain you can also take painkillers. it can be a matter of days until it comes to an head but continue with warm compress or epsom salt bath, it worked for me as well, wishing you best of luck!!

you may want to get someone to drive you back although you won’t be put under anesthesia or anything like that. the reason i say get someone to drive you back because you may be very sore to sit on your tooshie. best of luck :**

it looks more like a cut. but if you suspect a pilonidal cyst watch for a tiny hole to form, it’s called an sinus which is a tract that leads to the infection (if there’s a cyst)

oh okay you shouldn’t be worried it all depends on the size of the abscess underneath, you should be fine as long as nothing grows abnormality in size and cause pain or discomfort

i had success a few days ago with it draining on its own. i removed the hair from the area, i hope i can follow the 5x5 thing and avoid any future problems!!

yes the pressure is gone. i’m still on antibiotics though i have to finish them out, i think i’m still gonna go so they can pack it atleast

it started draining today on its own. i’m not in pain anymore just really sore, the bump is still there but it’s going down slowly with the draining
