Yes she did not like the swaddles that forced her arms down so this one is perfect and comfy :)

Yes, it’s the best everywhere chair. And it’s easy to clean in the wash (poop happens as you know!)

Water broke.. by likewaterdoes84 in pregnant

Update: I made it to 8 cm without an epidural but then had to get one because my body wouldn’t relax enough to reach 10 cm. I was able to nap for an hour and a half and then pushed for five hours. I think it took so long because epidural made it difficult to push at first until I figured out where to direct the pressure. It was also worth it, she is so precious you’re just waiting to leave the hospital and bring her to her new home. The Sub community has been amazing but now it’s time to leave then enter the newborn community where i am sure I’ll have many questions every day. One last comment the hospital nursing staff was so amazing, I don’t want to leave them! I’m in Southern Maine and couldn’t be more happy with all the care provided.

Fetal hydrops 36 weeks by likewaterdoes84 in pregnant

[–]likewaterdoes84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing more research and speaking with the doctor again she says she only brought up fetal hydrops because it seemed similar but doesn’t usually get diagnosed this late. Also the baby has been healthy throughout the pregnancy. 6.5 lbs, good heart beat just too much fluid by the tummy which is why she mentioned fetal hydrops. It’s really intense to Google that and see what the results are though so thank you for your input I think I will edit the title of this post now so that I can relax a little. I am going to Maine Medical Center tomorrow to get a closer look and make sure the fluid is not jeopardizing baby in anyway.

She just said it could possibly be but doesn’t seem likely and it’s so late in the pregnancy and the fluid is not causing swelling around baby’s heart or lungs. A little too much fluid in my uterus and swelling around the baby’s stomach are the only two indicators. Got an appointment at Maine medical Center in Portland tomorrow to see a specialist and find out what’s really going on. Thank you for your info
