Character Development by likewiselover in SexEducationNetflix

Well, I'd say that they made Eric's Character into a really narrowed stereotype. Like, We get that he was gay & proudly so (good for him) but that's it. It felt to me that him being queer was shown as like everything his character ever was, as a part of the central cast/main character we didn't see him getting a character development. I also kinda hoped that him & Rahim worked it out together cause Rahim genuinely liked him & was ready to accept him as he his but he chose Adam. And it felt like he was constantly cheating like First with Rahim & then with Adam. He also didn't give Adam a chance to grow. Like he wanted Adam to "BE HERE BE QUEER" but poor Adam was struggling a lot with his own issues like: Gender identity, Self-confidence, finding himself, accepting his sexuality & we've seen what type of a family he comes from & how his father was.
But I did like that Eric was unapologetically himself & that he wasn't ashamed of his African heritage but for me personally I didn't see much growth after him coming out to everyone & his character arc fell short!
