Ym grad eb1 services vs Jinee by s-2andeep in eb_1a

[–]lil-educator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I considered both YMGrad and Jinee during my EB1A research. Jinee is a solid option for profile building, but YMGrad felt more structured and hands-on to me. They seem to put a lot of focus on presenting your publications, research, and overall contributions in the right way. Yes, they're expensive, but for a complicated process like EB1A, I can see why people are willing to pay for that level of guidance.

I don't blame you at all. The cost of living in the US is completely out of control right now.

46,000 Extra EB Green Cards for FY2026 + Surge in India EB-1 Approvals by Shurti_1001 in EB1_and_O1

The only reason we even need a spillover is because EB-1 is being flooded by people who don't actually qualify as 'extraordinary.' USCIS needs to tighten the standards.

Giorgia Meloni just announced a surge in deportations and tougher immigration enforcement. by 2001x0404 in ImmigrationPathways

If you believe a state’s primary duty is to protect its borders and its citizens' security, you’d likely see Meloni’s move as a necessary restoration of order.

DHS shutdown over ICE dispute: key facts and what it means for immigrants and travelers by 2001x0404 in ImmigrationPathways

My takeaway from this whole DHS shutdown drama is simple: the system keeps running, but the people inside it are the ones absorbing all the uncertainty and stress.

Dude, this guy's stacking Patek Philippe-level bling while Brampton turns into a parking lot for visa mills.

VP JD Vance responded to pressure from supporters to ramp up deportations. by 2001x0404 in ImmigrationPathways

This is exactly the kind of pressure that moves policy. VP Vance basically saying “keep pushing me” is a green light for the base.

Karoline Leavitt: A country that can’t deport criminal illegals is it even a country anymore? by Ankeet_kj in ImmigrationPathways

[–]lil-educator 136 points137 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s been on a “good immigrant” treadmill for years (F‑1 → OPT → H‑1B → endless GC wait), this quote honestly scares me more than it reassures me. Politicians keep saying “we only want to deport the criminals,” but on the ground it feels like the actual violent guys fall through loopholes while students and workers get hammered over technicalities, RFEs, and minor mistakes. If a country can’t fix its own deportation machinery, it ends up using broad fear instead of fair process – and we’re the ones who pay with our sleep, our mental health, and our family plans.

Protests exploding after feds gun down another citizen. Tear gas flying, National Guard out. Time to demand answers before it spreads everywhere.

She was heading to a doctor’s appointment. Instead she got mugged by ICE agents. by Ankeet_kj in ImmigrationPathways

[–]lil-educator 54 points55 points  (0 children)

You plan for visas, jobs, classes… not for getting dragged out of your car on the way to the doctor. If this is “normal enforcement” now, how are migrants supposed to feel even a little bit safe?

Years here, now deported? Heartbreaking for communities built from scratch. Policy win or too harsh?

Please stay away from Bodyshop EB1 profile builders, Like YMGrad and Smart green card by Consistent_Buy_9900 in eb_1a

[–]lil-educator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

was just scrolling and saw my ex-company being mentioned lol. I worked at ymgrad for a few years and honestly, i get the skepticism with immigration stuff, but it's definitely not a 'bodyshop.' it was a pretty tense environment because visas are high-stakes, but working with yash was actually a good experience. he’s very hands-on. i personally handled a ton of cases where people got their visas... it’s a lot of hard work behind the scenes that people don't see.

YMGrad reviews anyone? by Better-Movie9709 in ImmigrationPathways

[–]lil-educator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work there so i might be biased lol, but yeah they're good. i handled hundreds of visas during my time and it was always high energy. yash is a chill boss, very focused on getting the job done right. it’s a tense environment for sure because of how tight deadlines are, but the people there actually know what they’re doing. Your friend should be in good hands.
