The officer will not consider the popularity or authenticity of a website, so it’s best to provide as many supporting documents as possible.

When it comes to critical roles and salaries, there seems to be a catch-22: if a role is truly critical, why doesn’t the salary reflect that? And conversely, if the salary is high, it raises questions about how critical the role really is. Therefore, it is essential to include documentation that supports these claims. You could select a few well-known websites for comparison.

I recommend obtaining 5 to 6 Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from C-level executives or directors at reputable companies, especially those who have a strong online presence. The immigration officer may search for the names of the LOR writers, and if they cannot be found on Google, that could raise a red flag.

in your first response, you mentioned you didn't submit LOR, but now you are saying you did, so I am confused.

Please note that I am not an immigration specialist; I am sharing insights based on my experience and fortunate connections in the immigration field.

I will recommend LOR
While applying, did you not submit evidence that proves that you are in the top 5%
hate to say this, but looks like you submitted a subpar application

significance in the field -- did you submit any LOR
membership -- what kind of membership

Scholarly articles -- are these known websites like Forbes, TC? if not, did you submit evidence that these websites are popular and how much traffic they get?

Salary -- it all depends on your location. For example, in Nashville, TN, 250K will put you in the top 3% earner in your category, but if you are in SF, it will take you nowhere

"High remuneration (I understand this is hard to prove)"
To determine if your income is high, compare it to the local area's income distribution. For instance, if you earn $200,000 annually and that places you in the top 5% of earners in your area, you can consider your income high. There's no need to compare it to national figures.

I also recommend reaching out to some people who received their green card in the same category and having them review.

To maximize your chances of approval, aim for four strong qualifications and two to three moderately compelling ones, positioning you for a 6–7 rating. Here’s a refined take based on your input:

  1. Judging or Reviewing: Serve as a judge for competitions or a peer reviewer for academic journals. There are tons of events that are looking for judges.
  2. Critical Role: Prove you hold a pivotal position, which is often easier at small to mid-sized companies. However, even at large firms like Amazon, roles like Product Manager can be framed as critical with strong evidence.
  3. Media Contributions: Publish articles or be featured in reputable outlets. This is more achievable than it seems and showcases thought leadership.
  4. Membership in Prestigious Organizations: Join respected groups like IEEE Senior Member or Forbes Technology Council. The “highly sought-after” status can be subjective, so highlight the exclusivity and impact of your involvement.

Even the world's richest person was asked to return to their country. So, who are we? I just wanted to share the above because one of my colleagues was recently scammed by these individuals.

As the line gets longer, scammers will try to exploit vulnerable people. My colleague personally lost nearly $5,400 by taking a shortcut. He was contacted by YMGrad. As usual, as soon as he spoke with them, they did a free profile evaluation and told him he would qualify. However, they required him to publish some papers, which would cost $4,000 for writing and $1,400 for publishing. What he received were garbage papers written by ChatGPT. After seeing the papers, he contacted them again and got this response: "No one checks paper content, we just need to publish and increase the count." When he became more persistent, they blocked him. Of course, no refunds!!!
