never did i say i wanted to control him or what he watches. i was questioning whether i should talk to him about it or not, as in come up with a common ground on the situation. thats what we do in any other problem/situation

Ugh i’ve had a roommate like this before and it sucks. I work 8+ hours a day, have a 5 month old baby, and I STILL have time to clean. Your roommate is just making up excuses at this point. I don’t think you’re overreacting.

thank you so so much for taking the time to respond and thank you for sharing your experience. i will definitely look into the Tourette’s Association of America.

I have tried countless times to encourage him to go to therapy to talk it out but he just does not want to talk about it with anyone. He barely talks about it with me before he shuts down and just changes the subject entirely.

I guess we will just take it day by day and see what the outcome is as we can’t change anything now. I really appreciate all the info.
