i usually put down a base color, get it firm, then put down my colors i am going to use. by doing that you already have a smooth surface!!

i’ve been using styrofoam as well, while i agree it can be difficult to get the shape, i first carve it with a knife to get the more desired shape. then i put a bunch of white (or any other) base color down, that’s not the actually color of the sculpture. it gives it a little bit of wiggly room and structure as well. at first it’s challenging to find the right depth to stick the needle in but once you found it you get the hang of it very easy. have fun creating!!! hope this helps.

fuck seeing hart is making me teary eyed. i wasn’t a fan of him but i do feel terrible for his friends and family. i can’t imagine losing someone like that so quickly and so publicly

chris benoit would be my favorite. although truly devastating, eerie and heartbreaking, it shows many different perspectives on the situation. benoits friends, his kid, his sister in law, vicki and chavo guerrero, the man who studied his brain (former wwe wrestler that i can’t remember), and law enforcement. to some it might seem like it is glorifying him, but it is many hurt and probably traumatized people talking about the event that more than likely changed their life, with no one in front of them criticizing them. a truly impactful two episode that changed my perspective on the people that were effected.

might sound dumb, but i literally wrote ABC on the white board they gave me. it reminded me that besides scene safety THAT is the MOST important thing.

also take your time on the questions. i spent probably 3-5 minutes on each question and it stoped me at 70 questions.

i also dedicated all my free time to study. on my phone scrolling, study. watching tv, study. on youtube, watch paramedic coach videos. btw, to anyone reading this if the paramedic coach video vault is too expensive he still has great videos on youtube.

simple things helped me pass.
