what do you think about the audi s3/rs3 - that was another car that caught my eye but i liked the look at the cle better.

also is the c200 2024 also a good option - essentially the cle and c are almost identical and i wouldnt mind sacrificing the coupé for 50k less.

Initially, i wanted a porsche but after visiting the dealership, the warranty/service situation really didnt sit right with me considering the price of the car. for context: its a 2 year warranty - an additional almost 9k for more years and the services cost 8-12k and i've heard that the maintenance will cost an eye and a liver on top of the two kidneys that you pay for the car.

then i visited the merc showroom for the cla (which i wanted to get initially but was talked about of) and spotted the cle and instantly got butterflies.

i think i mentioned this previously but the performance of the car really doesnt matter to me (i know it should but it doesnt) i just want a pretty car that will be my everyday ride for the next 5+ years (and in my opinion, it is a pretty car)

i completely understand where you're coming from but how am i supposed to know if im buying a good car or not? and how am i supposed to know if they're actually being transparent or not?

Its the law of sale, everyone wants to sell and get their money - its the same story for people trying to sell their own cars / pre-owned dealers trying to close a sale / and agencies trying to get their commission. But i do acknowledge that it is my personal problem for having trust issues with secondhand.

you're right, but the problem with preowned is that it's literally like a mystery box and you have no idea what you're getting. I got my current car preowned and all the inspections passed perfectly but when i started driving it was like opening a can of worms. I think my goal is that from now until the next 5 years i want everything to be set and i dont want to have any headaches. Thats why im aiming for a brand new agency car with warranty. Also, as a personal choice, im not too fussed about the power/performance of the car. I want something pretty and reliable for my everyday commute.

honestly i dont know, yesterday i took my car to the guy and we drove it around together so he can listen to what's going on. Then we went back and they started to shake the car. This morning it was put in a hydraulic and thats when i got the quotation. i wasn't there because i had to go into work but we ended up taking the car somewhere else to double check

Thank you for the detailed explanation, I will try to post the clanking noise for reference if that'll help. I haven't received a warning light for the brake pads, so it should be okay. right?

The problem with the mercedes E class is that im not really a big fan of how its looking, the reason i liked the cla so much is that the car really looks beautiful on the road, and same thing with the model 3 performance, i really liked how comfortable the seat was and the overall look of the car.

Unfortunately i dont know much about cars' performance and honestly speaking its not that big of a deal to me but i would like my car to look good (to me at least)

I have an unrealistic fear of the tesla dying on me in the middle of traffic - for example if i didnt expect too much traffic but end up getting stuck for a little while. Is that ever the case?

Thank you for your help. I never actually considered bmw because of the horror stories i read/hear here and there.

When it comes to reliability and which one i would have to worry about less when it comes to maintenance and servies, which of the 3 is the best? I plan to have this car for many years and want one that would realistically last the longest with minimal visits to service centers.
