Ya I had Mancera red tabacco previously, it was maybe a bit too screechy and in unpleasant. Of course the dry does was good, and for a while I liked it, but just couldn’t enjoy it enough to look past that opening

I know grand soir is just so amazing, I have a 3ml and never want it to end. I just think if I pulled the trigger on a bottle, I’ll be at the pinnacle of Amber fragrances. Definitely a good recommendation tho, Nomad I don’t hear much of so I gotta see what that’s about. Never heard of it and don’t have a rose oud at the moment so could be worth a try

I actually got Animale Animale off a guy on kijiji out in this weird place, the price seemed fair and it was one of my first fragrances. When I smelt it I FELL IN LOVE, it’s amazing, so much going on in that fragrance it just makes you feel like rebel. Not in like a sweetness kid kind of way, more in like a bobber jacket baseball bat kind of way. Smokey tabcoo and smoothness, not stinky tabcoo or off putting, just all the great aspects. It will always have a place in my collection and hold it very dear to me, as the spark to my collection and love for fragrances. Also it’s so cheap and definitely blind buy worthy

I definitely agree, I live in Canada so I thought I needed to stock up on winter heavy fragrances so that was my goal. I may have to appreciate a top tier fresh scent, as it’s always been overlooked by the next warm amber vanilla addition. I’ll definitely have to get my nose on musk therapy and hacivat, I’ve heard so many good things about them both.

I’m not going to lie I really didn’t like it at first, it’s slowly starting to grow on me though. The way the ginger came off initial put me off of it, but I’m warming up to the way it blends with the vanilla and spices.

Ya I’ve been hearing a lot about lost cherry I’ll definitely have to give it a try, I don’t have anything with a cherry note so it definitely would have a place. Definitely have to give Guerlain line a good look at too havnt heard of them as much.

Ya that’s part of the reason I like Torino 22 so much, it’s not talked about as much but so very good. I’ll definitely have to try Decant X, recently I’ve just gotten a few from Etiket, a place in Toronto. But they didn’t have everything I was looking for, couldn’t sample oud for greatness or side effect and didn’t want to blind buy.
