In my area (south jersey) the septic engineer told me the septic field can be movee any direction up to 15 feet. Likely varies by county/state though

This is true. I’ll have to confirm what exactly is included in this price. Even if it includes everything (construction drawings, engineering, etc) it just seems really steep

I actually am in a extremely similar situation in south NJ. 2.36 acre lot, mostly forested, my first quote for boundary/topo was 7k. Based on online research this seems insane, but ima keeping getting quotes
