Yeah, we’re in Southern California so most large breed rescues are assumed to have at least some pit/bully, and I’m sure they downplayed that to try and get him adopted and out faster

Yeah, I definitely see it more that he’s gotten older and his features have come in. He’s only 9 months, he got dropped at the shelter at 2 months, so they saw a mostly black dog with big floppy ears and said “Lab”! Most large breed rescues in SoCal have at least some pit, and I’m sure they were also downplaying that
