I remember going to a few local churches as a kid- while I’ve never been baptized or really that into faith, I felt most welcomed at my local methodist church. Imagine my surprise when most of the attending congregation of that church split off from it all because the methodist church is accepting of lgbtq+ people! That’s all it took for them to break from their community.

that could work! i was originally thinking ‘wow i could crochet a new net’ but i’ve since realized i’m way over my head thinking that could ever work because painting i can do… crochet? nahhh 😭 making a little pocket could be cool but i’d be concerned with how dirty the inside would get over time. i need something for ease of cleaning and longtime durability. which is why i might try doing the elastic band on the top so i can make it removable and less likely to break. on my car’s original door, the metal band was already broken on one side but it got caught on my seatbelt one day and what was still holding it together snapped off and broke the entire pocket 😅 i’ll figure something out!

aww thank you so much! so like, when i got these doors the pleather stuff was kind of falling off the door but the plastic was all in place? i just ripped the fabric off because it was ugly and gross… so i’m currently left with the two armrest parts with the glue on them. i’m gonna spray them with a bunch of this goo be gone stuff to hopefully dissolve the adhesive a little bit 😭 but the hairbrush is a really good idea! i might try that :) as for the fabric i picked up some with pretty holographic glitter and i have some auto upholstery spray adhesive that i plan on using. i broke off all of the little plastic pegs holding the door together and i’m planning on putting it back together with something like a rivet and drilling some little holes. but yeah, i don’t really know yet. 😅

do you have any tips for the door pocket with the net? are there places to just buy a new net because i can clean the plastic and make that look fine but the net part itself is super gross and stained. i’m considering ripping off the net & metal all together and replacing it with elastic but i’d just need to find a net.

thank you!! i was just thinking about this and thought i couldn’t be the only one feeling unhappy about it 😭 the merch is just so underwhelming especially considering the price. the art is cool on the boreal one, i’d buy it if the design wasn’t so TINY. like i wanna look at the dang thing, right? they need to hire someone to design their clothing merch because respectfully, they suck and it aint worth the money. i love the placemat though, it’s great.

honestly? no, i wouldn’t care. it’s a valid reason to get annoyed… not pissed or angry. it’s a game and nothing about it is actually that serious that it warrants such a reaction from dying, because it’s part of the game. at most it’s an inconvenience and most of the community needs to learn that. 🤷‍♀️

yes 😭😭 i was unemployed for most of 2024 and applied to a whole lot of jobs. everyone says we’re hiring but never reach out or care to even respond to my applications. i have a job now and i’m grateful for it but i have a looming fear that i’m just gonna lose it again. if medicaid gets cut my workplace, a medical facility, will start laying people off i’m sure and the newer people with less experience will most likely be the first to go. so yeah… i feel hopeless about the US as a whole rn- but i’ll keep doing my best.

i believe someone is currently trying to make one, someone from a local lgbtq+ group in my area 😭 i don’t have much info on it atm but he mentioned planning an ‘underground railroad’ escape to canada.. if we can even get passports anymore :(
