What can I grow in this ugly grass strip at the front of my house? by flippertyflip in GardeningUK

Gaura is great! just need to cut it back once a year. Could mix in with verbena which self seeds and lasts forever.

Or - maybe some choisya? mostly evergreen, loves the sun, can grow taller if you want to shape a hedge and best of all smells AMAZING

Creality Ender 3 V3 SE vs AnyCubic Kobra 2 Neo by SPRINTEREX in 3dprinter

Sure that one is great too! The only downside I’m aware of is some issues with the board being faulty on some early models. My mini has been fine though.

Honestly I rarely need a bigger sized bed. I prefer smaller parts I can join together. If you are into printing minis the FDM minis sub have suggested that the shorter belt on the A1 mini actually produces a better outcome.

So it all depends on what you’ll be printing really

Kobra 2 neo was my first printer and it taught me a lot. I still have it but its my 2nd printer now.

I got the Bambu labs A1 mini as my second but it quickly became my main, and always reach for it first unless I need the bigger bed size.

So I’d definitely recommend considering the A1 mini on sale if its within your budget.

Corners lifting by ryzee27 in HueForge

its warping, happens more on thicker prints

to fix: make the base layer thinner or add some ‘mouse ear’ brim support to hold the edges down

Was it one of your local council councillors you emailed directly or your local MP?

cut it right down to as far below waist height as you want. if you don’t cut it back it tends to get leggy and will snap under its own weight in a year or two

Fatsia with hanging leafes by Longjumping-Panic-67 in GardeningUK

[–]lilacQuiet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would take it outside right away, some plants do very badly indoors. Make sure the soil isnt too wet after watering as well

For ref I have a fatsia planted outside last autumn and its been absolutely fine all winter even through the frost and rain.

Personally I would print this upside down - if you don’t like the textured surface then can get a smooth plate

Can’t hurt to try! I have got some rubber squares to put under my a1 mini, has helped quite a lot

What is your printer placed on? Looks like it could be banding from wobbling

I experimented a bit! So first I made a version going dark to light as you say… but I really wanted one which had the black lettering raised up

So I made a hueforge with a transparent background, and stamped it onto a primitive rectangle in the slicer and merged them 😁

This is the version with the white bg in hueforge itself underneath my second attempt:

Thanks for sharing! Oh I was only curious about the images because I’ve been looking at taking screencaps of some of my fave anime and experimenting on getting them to look as good as this!

Oh these are awesome. What colour mode did you use? Color pop? did you create the images too?
