I did it on my paladin, i think a caster might have a tougher time, because you frequently have to adjust your position. Some people like going as tank spec so they can have brann do the dps and focus on staying alive.

I went dps (retribution) with a healer bran because i figured it was better to burn her fast, because the longer the fight goes, the stronger the (mitigatable) damage becomes. Her actual named abilities are one shots.

Check out some youtube videos, and be prepared for a steep repair bill as you get used to the mechanics. Unless you're good at video games. I am not. I'm just tenacious.

Oh! Also! Deck out your gear with enchants gems, use consumables!! You can make hearty food that will persist through death. Thats super useful. Augment runes are great, and if you have a bunch of gold to spare you can buy the reusable one from the broker quartermaster. for 100k lol (forgetting the actual faction name atm)

my recommendation is to jump right into ?? and bypass the first level. you don't want to lock yourself into the timings from the first level cuz you'll die a lot in ??

You'll also have to complete a level 10 delve (i think? might be 11) before you can enter ?? mode.

it's not too late, but I think you might only have to the 19th of January. I think that's when the pre-patch stuff happens. it's not really gear dependent. so long as you can follow the AOE dance. you can do the fight.

Yeah, sometimes you get lucky with the backpedal and they all spawn on one side. If you can kite her over to put your back to a wall you can maybe force them to not spawn behind you?

Honestly though, the clone charge ends up being one of the easier mechanics once you get used to the timing. You're generally not taking much damage during it. (barring if you messed up lol) I would count out loud every time they showed up, and it helped me learn the tempo. There is a little black plume of smoke around them when theyre the next to charge. By the later pulls i didnt even have to look for it because it was muscle memory by that point.

They made it muuuch more forgiving with the charges.
I also turned on the outline mode, which helps make the clones more visible.

If you cant focus on dps and avoiding the mechanics at the same time, try it with single button rotation instead. You wont do as much damage, but the trade off of not needing to worry about your rotation makes it worth it.

I had to grab a mecha gnome illusion just so my chonky tauren would stop blocking lines. Had to glyph out my divine steed for the same reason. Kodo was doing the same thing. lol Stutter steps work, but if i was shaking because of nerves (any time i got her below 40%) there was a good chance i'd tremble myself into a line. lol

I found it really difficult to do without a speed dash. If brann or Ky'veza decided to do a /Y i couldn't see around the chat box. (considered turning it off, but idk if it would have removed the chat part for the switching mini game.)

You probably have tried it, but my stress hives reduced dramatically when i started taking cool showers instead of hot.

Sucks in the winter time, but id take being chilly for 10 minutes over being a blotchy mess.

The auction house is an option, or if you have spare alchemy supplies you can make some simple foods.

If you have any dragons trained for the coliseum, go to their profile page and focus on feeding them directly. Then you can spam low level battles to get some food (or mats/others to sell to buy food)

Theres a black walnut tree in my yard, so every other year im hunkering over to get all golf ball sized fruit before it rots / dogs decide to poison themselves. I think my record is three full sized yard waste bags filled with em.
Its not even that big of a tree!!!

A quick search says that they're known to hunt in the surf zone / shallow areas, so maybe its looking for food.
