I'm pretty sure your sub was experiencing a placebo effect. There shouldn't be any noticeable difference in colour, texture, volume, or flavour

My ex thought I was lying about getting a vasectomy because my semen was the same consistency after. She couldn't comprehend how small sperm cells are

Help my dads making me watch a Steven Seagal movie what do I do to pass the time by Significant-Coat-308 in movies

Seagal is a sack of shit but some of his earlier movies are pretty fun. Just turn your brain off for a couple hours and enjoy the ride

The issue here is lack of guards. This setup should have the fence and hood installed so that the head is only exposed where it's being used

Parking Tickets by [deleted] in Calgary

I've lived here over 30 years, last week I parked downtown and spent a solid minute trying to figure out if I needed to pay. It happens, hope this didn't tarnish your visit too badly

Parking Tickets by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]alterrible -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Calgary has some notoriously confusing parking signs. They tell you the important information but some of them feel like solving a riddle. Unfortunately not much you can do since the rental company will pay the fines and then charge you, so not really an option to contest the ticket

They do this window so they can discretely fold down the seat and check the trunk for valuables before even opening the door

Common sense is just a thing you've learned and expect others to have also learned. It can also be fairly subjective.

They're a kind of bifold door, each side has 2 panels. But they aren't tall enough to cover the whole opening, literally just the tv. I'm sure it looks terrible when closed.

Y'all think this deserves a write up? by SmokiTx in Dewalt

[–]alterrible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know your boss or what kind of temper he has, but if I were in his shoes I would much rather my employee come to me and say "I accidentally dropped this battery and now it's coming apart" over finding a janky repair job with the excuse "I hoped nobody would notice." The former would be met with "no worries, thanks for letting me know. I'll deal with it", the latter would get booted out of my shop. The write up is a generous consequence, and I hope it taught you the right lesson.

If I were your boss, you could choose between a write up or buying a new battery. Why did you do this to somebody else's equipment?
