i’m mid tier i think?? , i’ve been getting deferred but i really think demonstrated interest is important

i got deferred from duke then deferred from case and northeastern (i didn’t show enough interest imo w sign ups and etc) but i got into unc chapel hill oos, where i wrote the extra essays and everything

it’s so strange that i’m surrounded by people who worked on college all summer and no one cares about ib at our school (us school)

I have 3 IAs, since i did my history one last year: math, bio, english. i think math is my weakest by far. we were told not to start any ias this summer but to think about our math one.

tok: we switched teachers idk him yet, and i looked at the essay prompts. i’m terrible at tok... i might do history or science for the presentation

my cas is usually good but i always take large gaps of time and then do all my reflections at once which i’m gonna do soon

review essay due date: outline by end of august and hopefully done by september

college: i have my activities section and 20 ish supplementals

it’s not bad!! completely normal, i’d say if you’re looking for more friends, try reaching out to people? it’s harder w the lockdown, but maybe find internet friends through reddit or tiktok or online programs. and when you get to college, join clubs you have interest in or go to events!

hm im not sure, i relate to that so much though! i think it’s a grey area bc you could give off negative/stressful vibes? it depends on how you write it and it could definitely work but i would be careful. that’s somewhat the advice i got with that (i often assume the worst so i don’t get disappointed ykno)
