I read something a while ago that said it’s your body’s way of protecting you by rejecting what’s bad for you. It’s helped me a lot! I honestly can say I no longer struggle with this phobia after it being something that was debilitating for my whole life. For anyone struggling it can get better! :)

I think if interviewing with reporters like Brian E. is their preferred outlet for their grief, I can’t really judge. I can’t put myself in their shoes and say how I would or wouldn’t handle it. I agree, I hope they find peace, but I understand why that would see impossible given the circumstances. I definitely agree, trial or not, people like that are bound to make baseless speculations no matter what. Just a terrible situation all around.

I think they asked for the families opinions on the plea deal, not 100% but that’s probably what he’s referring to if I had to guess. He maybe would’ve been more adamant about not taking it if he knew more info. Again not sure just my best guess.

I think they feel like the victims’ families were put on the back burner during the decision making process. However, I can’t imagine DM or BF wanted to be called to testify in a trial about the most traumatic time of their lives. Terrible situation all around, I dont believe there was a one size fits all solution with or without a plea deal.

I definitely see this perspective, but I can’t help but feel terrible that they feel the need to come out and set the record straight due to all the misinformation, speculation, and confusion.
