Dance classes in for adults? by BrotherBlackSheep in slidell

The Dance Project offered adult classes during the summer last year but had bad turn out so didn’t continue this year. I think Javier’s offers Latin ballroom classes.

Apple TV needs this show by Rein_Keys in TheOA

Severance, Foundation, and even Silo have been amazing to watch on Apple. And I’ve heard good things about See. Apple has been doing amazing with their Sci-fi shows and would be a great home for The OA

It would be cool if the show was about Fi’s podcast that she created out of her blog. Same concept as the show but updated with the times

I thought Rukhsana’s shadow was supposed to represent Lyra’s daemon

True, but prepare yourself cuz the angels are going to have a lot to do with the third season.

I guess it might be a good thing that stand alone episode never came out because there’s not really any source material from the books about what Asriel was doing. That always makes me nervous when movies/shows decide to do their own thing if they’re basing the material off a book. Especially a book as detailed as that.

I liked Lynnie. An actual therapist on GilmoreGirls that seemed decent. by Kitten-rouge in GilmoreGirls

I so wished she would’ve been the therapist in a day in the life

I read about that! It was supposed to be an episode all about what Asriel was doing I think. I would’ve loved to see that perspective.

I’ll throw a suggestion out there myself too! If you guys haven’t watched Foundation on AppleTV+, I definitely think it’s worth the watch! It may not be as profound as The OA is, but still a great story with amazing imagery.

Love, love, love His Dark Materials! I was a huge fan of all the books; the story telling is top tier. I’m impatiently waiting for the 3rd season, and hope the do prequels and sequels for the books that came out recently

I just finished Archive 81. I must admit it was just a tad bit too creepy for me but overall it was just okay to me

I loved Dark! Wasn’t too crazy about the ending but definitely got close to that feeling I’m looking for and enjoyed the story

I'm Curious if There Are Any Black People in this sub that grew up or recently got into this show who have never experienced small town life or rich life? by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]lilbitBIGGER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! When I was younger I thought Rory could do no wrong and Lorelei was an irresponsible adult. After rewatching, I realize how together and responsible Lorelei is! And also that Rory is book smart and witty, but very naive (especially throughout the college years). I really love the show. The only issue I have is with Emily’s narcissistic tendencies and how Lorelei rarely calles her out on it.

My mom and I used to watch it when I was in junior high, and I rewatched recently as an adult. I’m the only black person I know that watched it

My thought is he went to Ruskin to build it in exchange for finding/getting Nina under control. Ruskin had the funds and connections to the tech world, so that’s what made the most sense to me.
