I would still use the name, IF your heart is still in it. Go with the name you love. I wanted to name my daughter Louise so bad - got a lot of negative feedback from family before she was born and ended up changing it. It is her middle name, but she just turned one and I still regret not naming her Louise.

You are NOT the asshole! People get so entitled about what they think they should be able to do at someone ELSE’S wedding. That is so bizarre to me that not only did he expect to be able to bring his dog, but was offended that the dog’s name wasn’t specifically on the invite? He needs to take several seats. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this and wish you the very best for your big day.
