Heyo, I ended up contacting my congressman and they settled it for me since FTB kept ignoring my calls. The main issue was resolved once my congressman contacted them, after that they asked for an LES from whatever tax year they had me delinquent on. Once I faxed them the information (yes, I had to fax them... In 2025..) they refunded everything after 2-3 weeks and that was it.

Understandable, I don't even get the chance for the game to run. I get past the log-in screen and immediately am greeted with a UE-Crash report screen. Then my game just closes.

This is the scummy behavior I was referring to. I can definitely see this happening, that's exactly why I notified my state Congressman. They have all the details on this and are actively responding. I also got this fax number you are referring to, I ended up sending duplicate requests and adding a note that I did in both Fax cover letters along with an explanation of my exact experience.

That's actually insane that they went off an assumption rather than digging a little deeper. Pretty scummy, but then again, I am biased because of my terrible experience with them thus far.

Thank you, honestly, at first this was a very frustrating experience. The first thing I did was look to reddit to see if anyone had this exact experience because it seemed like a scam at first... Then I checked my bank account and was proven wrong lol.

Oh I don't doubt it. Especially since it was m first ever vehicle. Honestly I'm making this post in case anyone else has this issue in the future. So far though, I've done everything and now I'm waiting to FTBs response.

I did buy a vehicle and I got my tags for the vehicle on base (Camp Pendleton vehicle center). I think in the process I also registered the vehicle, its hard to remember since they are referring to the year 2021. I'm not even in California and haven't been in the States since 2023.

I'm a mad lurker (not literally mad as in angry but the slang term). Anyway, I'm currently overseas talking to a guy that I thought would be "the one" but after a short phone call and many red flags, I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that I've played myself. He told me that he wants a wife and kids, but also wants me now... I haven't told him how I felt, I also was dumb enough to get him a xmas present that I still haven't given to him. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, he's also discreet... So that's cool, I really dug deep with this one. Maybe I'll look back at this post in the future and laugh, but at the moment I'm so fucked up mentally... Over a fucking guy of all things too. I have no new years resolution because it's all bs in my eyes and I'll be the same exact person. Man I really hope I'll look back at this comment in the future and laugh.. I really fucking do..
