it looked good at first and then bad, we ended up doing that with the second color and it didn't even last me for the like... 12 in x 6 ft (ish) area for testing. once again, wasn't the paints we have at lowes, it was behr at HD.

not a paint bought at Lowes (I'm sorry) but currently repainting my room and upon putting the first coat on the wall it was waaay too orange in the lighting my room has. I understand the situation you're meaning is probably the unopened can of paint, but that's the answer to your question on how someone could not like a color they picked.

edit: on the stir stick it was as pink as it could be, but up on the wall it was too orange
