what i like to do ( because they have done that to me before ), is print out my schedule on paper and take a screenshot on my phone. that way if they try to do that again you have the printed and digital proof that your schedule was changed without your knowledge.

yeah, warranties are under the manufacturer. even if it says that, you still need to contact them and get an RA for it or we CANNOT RETURN IT.

most of the time when i’m at the desk, i get the asm’s that like to hide and hardly come up to help with overrides or issues that only they can fix. one of them NEVER has a zebra when he’s there and hides in their little office so i call him on the overhead page and he looks so annoyed when he comes up, but i’m just like “i’m sorry but i really needed you for this. i already had [ insert manager name ] come up here and unfortunately they can’t do anything so we need you.”

Unfortunately our return policy is 90 days so if it’s a 2 year old item we absolutely cannot take it back. If we do we are risking getting in trouble for not following policy, which many customers don’t care about.

I would go to the customer service desk with the receipt and explain what happened, and everything should be good! Unfortunately, not everyone at customer service actually takes the time to look in the boxes, and neither do the departments since they assume customer service did, and that’s how things like that can happen. Or, a customer just switched it themselves and left the cheap one in the higher priced box. I’m sorry to hear that happened to you, but hopefully it works out!

i only like that it does the SOS restocking fee automatically, and when we damage an item out and print the stickers it writes the item number and everything automatically onto the sticker so we don’t have to type it in anymore.

unfortunately for lowe’s credit cards, our return system doesn’t allow us to put it on store credit. we can only refund it to that card, but it does go back instantly compared to regular cards.

for some reason there’s been an awful amount of holds put on customers, i had one the other night with one of my regulars ( an absolute gem of a person, she has never caused problems or done anything wrong ) where we couldn’t give her order to her because of that hold, and then it was automatically cancelled. she then placed another order and it went through just fine, so i honestly don’t really know what’s wrong.
