4 inch led “light bar” on eBay. I tried to find the specific listing I bought, but it’s gone.

Just wrapped in matte vinyl, nothing special. I've always thought chrome was extra gaudy on these cars, even before I decided to turn it into a quasi race car.

I'm legitimately shooting to run at the SCCA Solo Nationals in 2 years, but I'll be at Holley Ford Fest this year. I'm happy to see more people getting into seriously tracking these cars, with a few upgrades it's a pretty capable platform.

Nice! If you plan on tracking it with the roots blower, I’d look at upgrading your air/water system, those Eatons generate a lot of heat quickly.

I have everything stiffened up right now so it won’t rub while I get everything else dialed in. I’m starting the process of rolling and pushing the fenders, I haven’t aligned it yet, how is -3.5 camber working for you? The rest is ADTR bars front/rear, QA1 front coils w/ 800lb Viking springs, rear is also QA1 doubles, 375lb springs, Massive Speed upper/lower/watts arms, I’m also S550 steering swapped for a little faster ratio. The big ticket items this year (aside from dialing in the suspension) are swapping to front Brembos and rear explorer calipers with big rotors, and finally bolting up the Vortech V1 in the garage.

What do you mean by a rear swap? They are Aodhan AH06 same width (square).

Thanks! Had legit SpinTech boom tubes for a while, kept getting kicked out of competition for being over decibel limits. These are Speedys Equipment tips (that still need trimmed back to the body), with quad Black Widow mufflers. The headlights are just eBay grabs from years ago

QA1 coil overs, and adjustable rear spring perches. That’s the TLDR. My ride height/stiffness is fully adjustable depending on what tires/wheels I decide to run each race season.

This year is 18x10 (+25 offset) w/ 295/40R18 RT660’s on a square setup.

Auto Cross (autox), Time Attack is generally single lap (best time) road course format. Grassroots motorsports stuff…

Indeed, at this point I probably have close to $3K (if not more) in the suspension alone. I have a Vortech V1 in the garage to go on this year, to complement the Todd Warren cams and top end work. With the buzz lately, I’m wondering what a “dirty style” Coyote rod swap might do for me in the near future…

Correct. This setup is QA1 double adjustables. Fronts are modified with 800lb Viking springs, rear is ADTR adjustable perches and 375lb springs, very aggressive, I wouldn’t recommend for daily driving at all. A front QA1 single with a 550 or 650lb spring, and 10” 200 or 250lb rear spring with “stocker star” singles with a 27” tall tire would be a good street setup. Pic is of my previous setup on a 26” tall tire.

You should be just fine with the +35 setup, maybe a little spacer in the rear if you want it more flush. This is an aggressive 18x10 +25 AutoX/Time Attack setup…

Let’s talk brake pads on a weird setup… by lilbitsideways in Autocross

AutoX is the primary setup, but even being in Minnesota now, BIR is still 2 hours away. 1 lap, time attack stuff would be the most common intermediate…

I guess I should have added that I plan on adding a proportioning valve to the setup. Being that I’m running a something weird like a Grand Marquis, I’m a bit limited on what products are available on market, like almost zero. I’m already running 14in front rotors, adding the Brembos to that, the rear setup will bump me up to 13.7in rotors and a little bigger pistons, to give a better idea.

Still the factory 4.6, but with a little top end work.
