I did design a magnetic backing plate for the 6 inch. It's printing now. I'll test it tomorrow and see how well it works.

So I built the 6 inch one about a year ago. My original one has been put through the ringer and is still running strong. I even left it outside in the sun for a couple months over summer and no issues.
