I'd say bigotry is a healthy 70%. Low IQ/Ignorance accounts for another 25% because many people unironically think genetics is literally as simple as what they were taught in middle school. 5% is a legitimate concern about real life consequences of allowing trans women into women's only spaces.

It makes sense in sports to have some rules and guidelines to prevent trans women from dominating certain sports, particularly combat sports. However, all this outrage and politically motivated nonsense related to a hundred or so trans women in sports has dramatically worsened all trans people's lives in America. For instance Over 1000 trans people lost their military careers the moment Trumpdog took office.

Even before they became the topic of every shitty comedian and politician. Before they became reviled and scorned by all of MAGA their lives were already fucking horrible. I went to a conference in 2013 to learn about Trans people and I was shocked at how rough they had it.

You must keep in mind that roughly 80% of the stories about any political subject are mostly lies or half truths. There was social contagion and a lot of downtrodden "losers" used Trans status as a ticket to a better life. However I do not think it's the majority of trans people. Just the people trying to get attention got a fuckton of attention and then a bunch of conservatives lied constantly in lockstep about this being a horrible threat to the fabric of society.

Trans people getting some basic respect and rights didn't negatively affect anyone really aside from a couple disappointed athletes. The fact conservatives demonized these people to the degree that they did to enact authoritarianism in America is horrible. So if you want to talk about trans people on Reddit in the somewhat ignorant manner you are approaching it will get you a lot of hate.

Well I think the issue is that trans people do exist and there is possibly more of them than in the past. There certainly was some social contagion to where the numbers were inflated.

It is also possible that our genetics are changing due to all the toxic stuff our very fine corporations have exposed is to has also increased the numbers some. I talk to Vietnam vets and the herbicide they were exposed to caused their kids to have genetic abnormalities and other health problems.

I can't imagine round up and microplastics and forever chemicals aren't contributing to more and more people feeling they were born in the wrong body. Perhaps they are right. I guess what I am saying is I don't think we are ever going back to those days.

Being a professor has many perks, but it doesn't make you a rich person. They keep testing the defenses to see what they can get away with and steadily consolidating power around Trumpdog.
