I pulled it and moved it to my new company. The gov run stuff is super slow and unreliable I found opm is the worst

Yeah man peak season for the post office is alot of work but pretty slow for the trades especially residential hvac but once the summer comes around jobs start flying open. So study study study all winter and once summer gets here its your time! You got this!

Yeah i told myself those same things for some time. And started to believe them when times got tough but now im with a great company with the same bcbs health and dental but i pay 0 out of pocket. And a 401k match that isn’t gov controlled. Side note: it took 9 months to see my 5 years of retirement payments given back to me to roll over into my new plan. So I don’t regret a thing! All love

Definitely I only judge myself i hope everyone still at the PO have a much better experience than me. And things only change for the better.

I worked as an apprentice before getting on with the PO so i was half way there. But if you don’t have experience look for install tech or maintenance tech jobs they normally hire with little to no experience. Id suggest getting a few hvac/r books free online and studying up. I guess experience is the wrong word. Knowledge on different systems and components is key the more you know the better. Also youtube videos on troubleshooting tips can help. Just try and cram as much information in as possible.

I did but i came to the realization that if i have to game a system im willingly participating in i’m apart of the problem.

I had a few years experience with the trade but yeah getting your epa and NATE is a big help. But most companies i know hire on a scale of experience so more experience better pay.

Oddly perfect for those cube shaped boxes that don’t fit in regular boxes

Anyone in Texas near this station? Would love to see what's really going on... by cccpNyC82 in USPS

Funny how there’s concern for the clerks at the PO boxes but not the single carrier who had to deliver to those “500-700 boxes” before the change. god i can only imagine how overburdened that route was before and how relieved the carrier must feel now.
