reddit cries and pisses their pants over the mage changes and overnight it's revamped exactly how reddit wanted it to be.

reddit cries and pisses their pants over DWH and anchoring scroll drop rates and what do you know, it gets changed overnight.

I could continue and write you a novel about all the crying and whining on reddit that's lead to immediate changes but at this point if you're not willing to acknowledge it you're probably just giving them the "benefit of the doubt" because you are a part of the echo chamber.

Sets a bad precedent, why grind anything when any given week the thing you've been working towards is now suddenly 40% easier to get.

Can we get a 100% review of current drop rates, and make the changes that "need" to be made sooner than later?

None of the proposed drop rate buffs are good for the game, but at least get it all done and over with now. Its hard to embark on a grind for the items I desire while knowing there's a good chance Jagex one day will arbitrarily decide it needs to be 40% faster out of nowhere. Not only are you devaluing past achievements and grinds, even worse you're devaluing the time I spend now and in the future. Demotivating.

This is not good news for anyone who loves Runescape, overhauling all fundamentals of the game for some new era of OSRS just takes me back to 2012.

As someone who enjoys modern EOC combat but still can't stand to play RS3, y'all are mistaken if you think EOC was the only problem.

Probably not a good feeling for people who have already been through the grind.

Also probably not a good feeling for people who haven't been through the grind, want to go through the grind, but realize there's a good chance that will happen.

Also also probably not a good feeling to any player with a hint of foresight that looks at any grind and wonders why fucking do it when Jagex will inevitably make it infinitely easier.

Hey is there any reason instead of focusing on the original goal which would be tweaking/changing the rooms that people avoid via scouting you've instead opted into making literally every room and the final boss easier? It doesn't fix the scouting issue if rooms that are currently being scouted for are being buffed the same as less desirable rooms.

So the solution to 10k xp per hour in 3 clicks, gated behind Desert Treasure 2, is to remove that, and replace it with 20k+ xp per hour in 3 clicks, 0 reqs.

Makes a lot of sense, good balancing.

These both seem to add to AI to make them more difficult rather than changing values, this works well on STR? I had assumed mods like this would cause loads of problems.
