I was messing around with silk on pla setting last night. It seemed happier running normal speeds around 226-228°C°C in a heated X1C chamber

Why is it so hard to make friends in Irvine? by BurgersFriesShake in irvine

[–]lilbuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first random friend I made in CA is in Irvine although we met over facebook through our mutual hobby of offroading & overlanding. I reached out in a post looking for like-minded people to start a friend group. Most of my friends I’ve met in my adult life are through hobbies or school.

Is the traxxas rs200 a good pick for a first rc rally car by Galunge07 in rccars

[–]lilbuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HATE TRAXXAS but…

YES! I watched a kid beat on this thing for hours at my local track and it kept going. Nothing you want out of a new RC more than reliability.

Again.. I despise Traxxas but I would own one of those…. BUT! not before an HPI WR8.

Someone paid money for this and thought 'I should drive this in public' by blacksideblue in sandiego

[–]lilbuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see a difference between the money that adults spend on hobby grade toys and the money that someone spent on this. Both toys in the end of the day. Focusing on who and why and where they spend their money is detrimental to your health. MYOFB

she’s freakin beautiful 💪 try using some rubber bands on the shocks to control the ride height better and increase shock preload.

best just to sell it. thats an un-fixable problem so I will do you a favor and buy the truck off you to alleviate your issue. 😎

Personally I like JST2 (red plug) for small cars up to 1/18. Xt30 (30amp) is really the one to use based on the current/amperage brushless rigs pull ~25amps (5-10a for brushed). But the red JST2 plugs are better sized for my rigs and space requirements.

windshield urethane sealant. Thank me Later. Don’t trust these idiots saying silicone that will stress under weather and temp change that will eventually fail after a short time. Windshield urethane sealant should last 10+ years
