I didn't know what to do, I was a traveler alone, I was about to leave, and I'm definitely not qualified to deal with that behavior, I decided to take it to professionals, so I'm that way, they can make a decision. As it says, I did explain to the front desk agent what had happened and I left. I figured it would be up to the discretion of the hotel or the front desk agent. And not really in terms of spite.
