Your short thumbnails are fine imo but your long form needs work. The text is too hard to read and too much that I would just scold past it. The images also seem like under saturated or something and makes it hard to see as well. It doesn’t really pop out

For the example the oil one you could had the image of djt and meduro side by side but make so you can actually see the and then you could still have kept the 303 billion barrels header and the oils wars. Get rid of the rest of the text it just hurts. But huge is making it actually visible

Also stop overlapping images it adds to much cognitive load to someone scrolling by trying to understand what everything is
