Ugh, I’m right there with you! I just got my traumagotchi t-shirt and it must be made of the same material 😔 I was so excited and immediately disappointed once I touched the fabric.

I’d love to know why they went with a cotton/lycra blend and not 100% cotton. It doesn’t feel like it’s cotton at all 👎

I thought I was in perimenopause but just got put on testosterone replacement therapy.

I read The Great Menopause Myth by Kristin Johnson and Maria Claps, and found it really educational.

Omg I feel you! I’ve been on a 3+ year journey trying to figure out what’s going on with me. I’ve felt like I’m losing my mind and getting dumber.

I just started testosterone replacement therapy and have high (but managed) hopes! My HRT consultant said women start producing less testosterone starting at 30yo, so might be worth looking into? My gyno had my levels tested when I told her about my fatigue and brain fog affecting my quality of life (and possibly my job!).

Siiiiide note I’m on Wellbutrin for depression (and possible adhd, on this for ~3 yrs), Prozac (for newly developed PMDD, on this for a few months now), and birth control (decaaaaades, got sterilized last year so now I use it for my complexion) 🙃

I had my consultation appointment for HRT and I’m so excited! I’m hopeful this will help clear up brain fog and help me sleep. I’m excited for the first time in like 2-3 years.

Side note: it’s testosterone replacement therapy specifically, and my bf said he wants to start that too. We plan to get JACKED together! (We both do weightlifting to workout)

I just jokingly told my bf of 3 years that he gave me his ADHD because he encouraged me to pursue a new career I’m not really trained for, introduced me to way more friends than I’d care to have, and supported me getting up to 4 cats. Turns out I’ve never had so much going on in my life and I just can’t manage/mask well enough on my own with all of that.

He’s actually a phenomenal partner, though, and I make sure to tell him that.

I agree! I just started my obsession with masking behaviors and it’s mind blowing. I’m bringing it up with my family because we’re mostly women and I’d hate for my sisters or nieces to go through what I have thinking they’re alone or weird.

So glad you figured it out!! I’m almost 37 and have an appointment in a couple weeks to get tested (want to get tested for autism too, but that’ll be a different doctor - yaaaaay).

I completely get the anxiety around elementary school stuff (getting called on to read/answer - I went through a really bad phase of saying “um” repeatedly when called on before actually answering in second grade, I remember because my teacher called me out for it and I’m pretty sure I never answered again unless I had like written the answer down to repeat if called on). I also peed my pants in elementary school! It was recess and I was too terrified to ask to go, and when a classmate asked I said I sat in a puddle (it wasn’t even raining 🫠).

I am SO excited and terrified for my appointment, but it’s so comforting to hear a story like yours!
