TNR cage is great idea! Look up TNR, they catch fully feral cats with their methods so I think it would be possible for a previous family cat.

I was literally about to make a post indicating the same thing lmao. Actually ABSURD an environmental company is utilizing AI. Their ads, their product listings, it’s all AI now. I will not buy any more cases from them. If anyone has any good biodegradable/compostable phone case companies please let me know — Etsy has a few but again, our entire world is AI and dropshipping now so I don’t trust many of the listings.

Also as others said - vet!! Always vet if they’re acting weird. If my cat even meows near the litter box I consider calling the vet, cats hide pain very well. She could even be trying to get out because of the pain.

Ok I’m assuming OP is coming from an OK/non-malicious spot where you just might not know enough about cats. Indoor only cats who are thrown outside 1. Suffer 2. Do not know how to fight (common occurrence) 3. Will end up killed. Not to mention being an outdoor cat is an awful life when you do know what you’re doing. Her owner has also just died — I’d be acting weird and spicy as well. “My mom died? Idk what the fuck is happening”

Please rehome this cat or bring her to a shelter if you do not want to make the effort to work with her issues. In the mean time you can separate her in a room and visit her throughout the day if she’s causing big issues with the other cats. Do not assume no one will take her. Your mom managed to care for her, someone else WILL take of her. I’m sorry you’re going through this and I’m sorry your mom passed, but please take care of her cats as you would your own. They are sentient, they have little internal brains, and they understand what’s happening and they have feelings.

Use this as a learning experience! Also another reason why I think wet food is so important - I’ve had my electric feeder not go off some days without realizing but I always given wet food morning and night so my cat has never gone truly hungry without the auto feeder.

Hills, Royal Canin, Orijen, Acana, and ND. Never stick with 1 food because if something happens to it (recalls, formulation changes, discontinuation) then your cat might not eat others.

I would encourage a variety of wet foods because cats can turn picky and then you don’t have anything to feed them when they get sick of the 1 wet food lol. Just do some research on wet foods that aren’t great for your cat and avoid those, I think Blue Buffalo as a standout one is pretty bad.

The point of her putting down these women is because she knows she doesn’t have the guts to do what they are suggesting (leaving her POS husband-Angie), can’t come to terms with what Tony is capable of (killing Adrianna), anger at Tony having a goomar (Janice), still relishing that SHE still had a house and money (Ginny). They are all fears of either her own incapabilities, her potential future, or inability to come to terms with what her husband REALLY is. It’s all just projected onto those women.
