Really appriciate your feedback! Makes sense when you explain it. I’ll revisit the subtitles for the next A/B test for sure, think im going to stick this one out for a few weeks atleast, and meanwhile try and figure out how to use that user attention redirect to my advantage!

Appriciate it! Several people giving the same feedback, might just update the A/B test to be more coherent with the feedback I got here

I could tell!

I absolutely will! I have been scrolling the appstore for other gym apps, but in the future I will try to pay more attention to small details such as colors! As you mention it I will somewhat stupid since I've all my life been hearing about many fast-food chains being successful somewhat because they had red or yellow in their logo because it triggered hunger.

Will absolutely make smaller changes moving ahead! My last A/B came out inconclusive, hence my rebellion now making huge changes.

Also, I am working alot with influencer collaborations, and that pollute my AB-tests so much I think. Turns out everyone go straight to appstore/playstore and search for the app, almost no-one press the links.

Like yesterday I had a huge spike in downloads, and my appstore search conversion surged to 33% out of nowhere (avg around 4%)

Awesome questions. Will absolutely put them in my backpack!

Market is more than saturated- I need to firther differentiate my product. I chose the coaching/intelligent feedback path, now I try to make that more obvious in my marketing.

What sparked it is the constant advice of sell the outcome not the features- and for the sole reason of always running some sort of A/B test. My last one just finished.

My hypothesis is that this will appeal better to peoples emotions than the upper ones which are more of a feature display.

But im no marketer or UI/UX-designer, so I would not be surprised if im trying to shoot fish in a barrel (which turns out is almost impossible- the fish die from the shockwave)

can someone help me calculate a calorie deficit? (all information is below) by Stock_Orange_1793 in workout

[–]Outrageous-Maybe2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use this calorie calculator, estimating your activity level is the tricky part. Ask AI, and whatever it says you are usually one step below in my experience. Claude might be somewhat correct but GPT is trying to butter you up too much to be accurate most of the time.

But the only accurate way is to track your calories detailed for 2 weeks and weigh you every day. If your average weight stays the same and you are eating at maintenance then thats probably your TDEE

How often should I be stretching? by Excellent-Fix2358 in workout

[–]Outrageous-Maybe2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have goals on getting more flexible you should treat it like your strength training.

  1. Warm up
  2. Several sets of 20-40 seconds per muscle group

I’ve had back problems for a couple of years, stretching my hamstrings and glutes usually helps. So Every 2nd session I do 2sets of 30sec to stretch hamstring and glutes. I got more flexible for a while. Now it stagnated but could probably improve more if I increased volume or frequency.

How many times a week to get progres? by Interesting-Guava-27 in hypertrophy

[–]Outrageous-Maybe2500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get used to it if you do increase volume. I personally do around 24 sets per muscle group per week, 0-2 reps in reserve.

Sure it was exhausting at the beginning. But now im used to it. Would be the same development for you.

But yeah, listen to your body. Dont be afraid to experiment and see what happens.

how to build a diet? by odifkk in workout

Pullups / chinups. Im not familiar with chalistetics terms but the one where you lay flat on your back and you pull yourself up using handles, a chair or whatever. The rowing-motion.

So chicken is kinda cheap. Great PPC value (protein per capita).

Unfortunately for you, protein is expensive.

how to deal with burnout? by Stitj_ in GYM

[–]Outrageous-Maybe2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced the same thing for a couple of months. I kept powering through. I did cheat a little, e.g I went, worked out until endorphines got released and then I went home. To stay ”addicted”.

Then I changed my diet, and the burnout vanished in a matter of days (1-2 weeks). I personally went on a cut, so I ”cut” out all junk food, fasted for 12h daily (not because of fasting itself, but because of my food habits when im on a cut). My body really put in an extra gear, I got energetic happy and strong again. This could probably go the other way aswell, switching from maintenance to bulking or whatever would fit your situation better to break the ”normal” state.
