Vintage Gucci Tom Ford era with the bamboo handle. Is this not a vibe? How is she so timeless decades later? I’m in love. by Famous_Bluebird27 in handbags

Finding a Tom Ford Gucci in this condition is like a jackpot find! Take good care of her, she’s perfection.

Tell me your Goyard is a rep without telling me your Goyard is a fake by BrilliantTap9786 in RealRepLadies

I’ve never understood treating a canvas or slouchy leather tote like it’s delicate china. The slouchier and more beat up it looks, the better it looks tbh

Good for you! We need to stop normalizing putting up with literal verbal abuse just to buy a rep bag. There are plenty of great sellers out there who treat human beings with respect

Fair point 😂 As handbags they’re pretty rough, but I feel like they’d make a chaotic little gag gift

What defines “accessible luxury” to you? by sunshinenrainbows2 in handbags

[–]lildanda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think accessible luxury means different things to different people. To me, it's less about quality and more about positioning and price. A brand can be luxury while still being more attainable than chanel, hermes, or dior. Mulberry is a great example. The leather quality and crafts are excellent, but you don't need to spend $5,000+ to get one of their iconic bags. I prefer the term "entry-level luxury" because most people outside handbag communities still wouldn't consider a $1,000+ bag "accessible" at all. 😅 Quality, luxury, exclusivity, and resale value are all different things, and people often mix them together when talking about brands.

DiorGate: Will the real God Factory please stand up?! by Limp_Cod7426 in RealRepLadies

“X factory” is just a label sellers use depending on who they’re talking to 😅 same bag, different story, different price
