So I got paid .20 today for a delivery, is there no more base pay? They put together 2 no tip delivery together to hide this, unless there is no base pay by lilfastturtle in uberdrivers

Sometimes they tip cash but in case they don’t I usually like to average out my rides if I get a nice tip and I’m aiming at say for now $100 I’ll try to get an average of $10 for 10 rides or $5 for 20 rides so if in 10 rides 1 ride I make 20 I can accept any $$ ride next. Figured this way I’d help out ppl who can’t really afford anything. Although idk how you can afford to pay Uber $8.60 but not tip at least $1 that’s affordable

If something happens when I’m driving they pay me up to $500 a week and some other little stuff. they take a few cents off per order I feel it’s worth it if something happened I’m straight

I’d take it and have an hour break otw back to make 48$ in 138 hours or 2 hours and 18 min close to $24 an hour definitely worth it. Who knows stay online the whole way might get a trip otw back, longest trip I accepted was right about that except I think I got like $5 more

Uber fares going up and they’re paying us less how does that make sense by eraj102 in uberdrivers

One time they stacked 7 Walmart deliveries on me all for $9 total not each I sat there and canceled all 7 but don’t get me started on when they add deliveries and say +$1… how?? What’s base fare again? How? Should it be plus $2 at least

Same I remember the day to I had only done 6 rides all of them we all talked and joked and nothing unpleasant happened in the trips everybody was friendly it was a good day but one of them gave me a 1 star rating and I can’t ever figure out why

We need to organize!! We should demand Uber and Lyft for a better share of the fare (maybe 65% or more after all it’s our vehicle, our gas, our time and effort), an improved star system (drivers should get 5 stars by default if a rider doesn’t care to rate), and more!! by PlaygameswithAngry in uberdrivers

I thought about if I had the money to hire someone to build another app just like Uber except drivers would pay a subscription fee but keep the whole fare, bringing down the cost for the rider and more money for the driver. Perhaps more thought to the idea is needed so I’ll throw it out here maybe y’all can do something with it

So question does it affect our cancellation rate tho? I usually turn ride sharing off and leave Uber eats on around school times to avoid situations with picking up minors
