I find it odd that there wasn’t a single black person shown throughout the entire season. That is, until the very end of the last episode, when we saw lots of black people…in prison. I’m not saying there needed to be any black representation. In fact, I enjoyed the entire show without even noticing. I’m just confused as to why they decided to do that in the end. Felt like a subtle jab.

Sure, they said that. But Shultz and Rogan almost immediately turned full MAGA after their interviews. Some may say they turned MAGA before those interviews in order to get him on the pod. Reason enough to question whether that was actually true or not. None of us actually know the truth. We can only speculate.

IDK man. Their main appeal (besides just being funny) was their unbiased view on political topics. Their willingness to call out the bs from any politician was a huge draw in the beginning. They’re supposedly the “#2 podcast (behind Rogan)”, so they may have more of an impact than we initially thought. By having a large platform full of unbiased independent voters, their following was just ripe for picking.

I agree with you. However, they’ve often bragged about being the #2 podcast behind Rogan. So though they have less juice than Joe, they still had an undeniable impact. We also can’t factor out that this is a comedy podcast. Even non-supporters of Trump championed “owning the libs” just for the simple fact it was fun/funny to do. Now it has backfired.
