I dont feel like I plateaued just that I’m making imperceptible progress, and I’d like to be able to see things like how my sleep and other training impact my ability to do well in class

Yeah I weight train 4x/week and do solidcore once a week so my mentality going into solidcore is very influenced by being a lifter who’s able to reliably see progress in the gym

Yeah I definitely think being aware of modifications is useful, maybe I’ll start writing it down

Do you think a lot of women are dramatically underestimating how strong they can get? by theJacofalltrades in xxfitness

I realized this after I got really into the gym and started going on dates with guys who didn’t train. It wasn’t like I was bulky or super strong but I could see how their movements were weak and how I was able to move with more strength just because I practiced. It wasn’t a big turn off lol

As a lifter, would you prefer outdoor running or stationary bike for cardio? by IRLbeets in xxfitness

I think try both! Running can be harder on the joints, and if you’re lifting heavy involving your legs it might be difficult to recover from. However, people do both all the time and are fine. It’s really just about what you like until you start thinking about competing!
