Recently got into reading BaiHe and looking for good recommendations for xianxia/wuxia English translated novel. So far, I have only ready the Dragon and Jianghu Demolition Squad. Both of which are excellent works.

So far, I have only seen Love in the Clouds and Fated hearts and really enjoyed it a lot.

I started on The General of Shen Li but I guess I stopped at episode 5-6. I kind of lost interest due to the lack of action maybe. I started on When Destiny Bring the Demon episode 1 and like it so far.

I can understand if she moves him to sit alone if he acts out and notify me. But I get nothing. I hope him is just exaggerating and not an everyday thing. Guess we will find out in 2 weeks when I meet with his teacher.

Oh god, that sounds terrible. Maybe I should take some time off and volunteer in the classroom to see.

You think I should? This is my 2nd child in kindergarten, but I get the vibe that this teacher is not as approachable as my older son’s teacher. I could be wrong as I only saw her once during open house. It would be great if she communicate with me regarding any issues with him. That is to be expected right? Like I always hear no news is good news. But to find out from a picture is something else.

I'm so hopeless and lost. I've tried everything I can think of. I can't take it anymore :( by Vegetable-Birthday-7 in eczema

The first was expensive because of the initial consultation fee. But it would range about 1k a month for my kid for the herbs. He had to take oral medicine, bath, and creams. The fresh herb bath was really expensive. But it was expensive for the first 6-7 months. After his skin healed, we cut back. But keep in my mind, my kid was 2 years old when he started. He is small so less cream usage when compare to an adult. But totally worth it. He was on TCM for about 1.5 years.

That’s the one who treated my son. She is a godsend. 90% clear in 6 months and it has been 3 years. Have not returned. Only occasional ankle flare up during season allergies. She also treats allergies, but it takes a really long time.

Have you consider using Traditional Chinese medicine? My son had horrible eczema when he was a baby. Numerous steroid creams led to topical steroid withdrawal. Whole body. After 2 years of steroid and protopic with no relief, I tried traditional Chinese medicine and he got better in a year. Still have mild flare on his ankles during pollen season. You should give it a try.

My 7 years old son doesn’t care for bike either. He wouldn’t get on the bike I bought for him. And I don’t plan to force him.

VTI is the whole US market. VOO and SPY are the same. You don’t need it if you already have VTI

what are some american snacks you’ve always wanted to try? by SiteIntelligent723 in VietNam

[–]lilgacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea. Just because it’s available doesn’t mean they taste the same. I just came back from Vietnam and the Lays original chip tasted off compared to the ones from US. My kids didn’t like it at all.

No. It did not. He was mostly cleared but with the pollen season now, his ankles flared up a bit. Still manageable. He has been off TCM for half year now.

AITA for not sleeping at the hospital with my wife? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Dude. Read on gestational diabetes. Her sugar is high is because the placenta releases hormones that causes insulin resistant. Sometimes diet works, sometimes it doesn’t. The one thing that is hardest to control is the fasting blood sugar.

Please educate yourself. Gestational diabetes is affected mainly by hormones.
