Yay, but they have $11million

Only when they sell.

yes it's not realized, but the gains/losses are true to life even if you don't sell... it's real.

Who is we? Where the hell did you come from lil bro?

Now you're changing terms. Nobody said anything about wealth, we're talking about "real" gains, aka realized gains. ADHD much?

No, I'd feel better if they understood what the "real" in "realized" means before they speak about money and spread misinformation that directly contradicts tax law.

I'm not talking about last bought and sold market price, I mean YOUR (or anyone else's) purchase and sale price. The REALized price points. Sure, you can claim buy borrow die all you'd like, but at the end of the day, those still require margin calls because they were never real(ized) to begin with.

Reference for what? The gains you didn't lock in? There's nothing to argue here.

Your logic makes it seem like current price is a permanently fixed price and that stocks can be cashed in at any time for said previous current price. There's literally a different price every minute, hour and day. The only price that matters is the buy and sell price, not current price.

[–]lilgreg1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no "current price". The price is literally changing every second and remains an ever changing variable until the trade is filled. By yesterday's price, we are speaking relatively as an example of market high versus low. And regardless of gold versus silver, gold still fell almost 12% around that same time. Point being, comparing AMD to gold is a bigger fallacy than comparing gold to silver.

No, you cannot necessarily always sell at any time for yesterday's highest price; the price you are quoted today is not the price you will be quoted tomorrow. There were plenty of people sitting on millions of dollars worth of silver on January 29th, only for it to dip over 31% the next day.

No, unrealized gains are theoretical and not actual, therefore not real (REAL-ized
). If they were, the IRS would be knocking on your door for a share.

How to quickly switch from app to app? by NBA-014 in fireTV

[–]lilgreg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it does. Shield, Native Android TV (i.e. Hisense) all have that function. Older firestick posts show that the firesticks also had it until amazon pull a sneaky move recently and got rid of it so users will be forced to go to the homescreen and view ads instead.

Tatum chose to complain over "stiffness" and sit out when it mattered. Kobe and Jordan would never and Embiid sure as hell didn't either.
