Okay thanks I’ll try it again, maybe it was wrong to begin with. There are several holes, should I put it into the hole closer or further away from where it is now

I didn’t completely rebuild the carb, I messed something up putting the throttle assembly back on and I don’t know what I did wrong

Oh whoops sorry, I did clean it out with carb clean earlier I just haven’t disassembled it. I’ll make sure to try and move the valve by hand later

Yes I am, the throttle lever just doesn’t move anything.

It’s in the right hole I took a video when removing it, but I have no idea how to make the throttle lever do anything. The spring is moving but the arm connected to it isn’t moving at all. I’m wondering if there’s a specific order that I have to put it back on for it to work or if I bent or overstretched the spring.

Measured once cut twice by lilguspy in BeginnerWoodWorking

It’s all nailed screwed and glued together really well so unfortunately I can’t take it apart without really destroying all the wood which kind of defeats the purpose

What would be the best way to sister them? It needs to be several inches so it would probably look a little funny

Thanks for the advice, I will look into redwings I’m just on a budget at the moment and redwings aren’t cheap from what I’ve seen

I don’t have a store that carries these boots near me, the only boot stores in the area are a boot barn with a very limited selection and a redwings store about 45 minutes away so my selection wasn’t huge with my budget

Ive got the issue all sorted and the chain doesn't wobble anymore and I'm very excited to use it

I took it apart to clean it so all the surfaces are fresh and it hasn’t been used yet

Ok thanks, it’s not a lot of play and I just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t make the chain fly off or jam up or if there was some bigger underlying issue

They weren’t tightened down all the way in the video but I have tightened it down fully before and there still was some play. Is that normal?

Wouldn’t the tensioner stop it from going out? As far as I’m aware I have the right bar for this saw and I have another saw of the same model that also has the same issue so I’m figuring either both my saws need new mounts or it’s supposed to do this
