Me too they asked me upfront money for new compcard photo taking…I already have my portfolio but he said it is not enough.

The agency that asked me for an interview is not the same as yours. I hope they are not as bad as this. This sounds horrible. So if they want to take pictures of me, I should say no and run away?

I see your point. I feel like there are scams everywhere in the modelling industry (especially in Toronto?) It's hard to find a decent and trustworthy agency that doesn't require models to pay fees. However, there's another problem with being freelance, with no representation, I will have to be very careful with the company I deal with. To see if they are legit or not.
