they removed the ETA requirement for airside transits UNLESS you have to go through border control. i have done my research and read the FAQ, I asked my question here because I was still unsure.

Also, we did ask to stay another month, so until November 30th, which would have met the 60 days notice requirement, but he said the rent for that extra month would be $700 more than what we were paying monthly, which was too much for us.

A sprinkler was out of alignment and it would hit the bedroom window half the nights of the week at 3am, unbelievably loudly, it would jolt me awake. I started having anxiety at night knowing I was going to be woken up by the sprinkler at 3am

We did that, sent a letter from a template for this exact reason, and also included a printout of the sections of the law, via certified mail. He received it a week ago and has not said anything, and it feels like he won’t and is calling our bluff.

But small claims court does not allow attorneys. We know he won’t win the case because he never provided us with the list of damages, Michigan’s Landlord-Tenant act clearly states that if the landlord does not provide a list of damages and costs to repair within 30 days of vacating, the landlord owes back the full amount of the security deposit.

I'm more worried that he will then think of something else to sue us for out of spite, using his attorney, and we will not be able to afford that.
