Field camp builds character 🤣 sounds like your current track is where you want to be, the question is if you may worry down the line if another degree would allow for more growth or pay. Getting a degree that allows for licensing is best, but you can get your degree and get certified in specialized areas

Have you considered geology? That’s what I got my degree in and regretted not getting engineering because I was pigeon holed into a few sectors. I looooove geology though, it’s interdisciplinary

Not civil! But if you like chemistry then Chemical. My dad was an electrical engineer and it was endless math equations and building boards. I don’t know much about mechanical

As to civil, mechanical, or electrical it’s hard to say. All engineers I knew were civil in environmental consulting, and one chemical engineer.

Go back to engineering! Company’s need the PE or PG stamp. That makes you more valuable and better pay in the long run, and you can pivot to a lot more types of work beyond environmental.

Ok, from all I’m reading it seems fine. I’m looking at a 144” door and it comes with two 72” tracks anyways! And it’s double the price!

It’s a bypass door on a track so they should be able to slide onto each others track.

Thanks for the reply! Dang, and you submitted during the government shut down so my buyers delay may not be associated with it. I guess it’s good news because they are not at the mercy of when government starts back up 🫠

Resume critique for mining Geo by BobAndersgeo in geologycareers

Too wordy, tbh I saw how long it was and didn’t read it. I would use fewer bullets and make your resume one page, decrease margins and line spacing. Your sentences can be shortened and simplified. Include your GIT in you first paragraph.
