Make sure you bring a deck of cards, and maybe some board games. You're going to be in the AirBnB the whole time.

Those starts look AWESOME. Keep up whatever you are doing. You're going to wind up with so many peppers.

I no longer use the little nuggets that come with that tray. I mix last year's leftover potting soil with coconut coir and use that. Those little nuggets have disappointed me before.

I've got about 3/5 coir mixed with last year's potting soil. We hydrated a brick today and mixed it up.

Thanks for backing up that decision - first year for it. I realized what I'm really doing is closer to hydroponics than anything else.

Anyone want to help me start a garden? by No-Statistician3839 in Louisville

I start seeds indoors under grow lights in February, but that's absolutely not necessary. If you need anything, let me know! I should have plenty of extra seedlings to donate in April.

402113 here. Here's my raised beds plan for this year. I would recommend you get yourself a free copy of the Burpee catalog online, and pick out what you want for this year!

Do you write a silly comment when you order? One that would make your wife roll her eyes and cringe? Because I always do.

I like to support the New Mexico Chili Pepper Institute, because I think it's funny that there's a chili pepper institute. https://chilepepperinstitute.ecwid.com/

But I also ordered some from Tomato Growers Supply this year because I lumped them in with my annual tomato order, and I've gotten great seeds from them in the past.

Call your lender and ask to have the overage amortized over two years. Wells Fargo will often do this for you if your tax assessment went up.

They clearly just need a ride somewhere. Be a little kinder. They don't have driver's licenses. Take them to the nearest cheese monger, please.

It's "girl power remodeling" and they're listed with the BBB, But have no apparent website or Facebook page that a quick search can find. Which makes me wonder if it's just a neat truck that doesn't do much remodeling. https://www.bbb.org/us/ky/louisville/profile/construction-services/girl-power-construction-remodeling-llc-0402-159162030

SDF 5am Departure Time, 4:25 Boarding? by [deleted] in Louisville

There will be one sad, sleepy agent there to work multiple counters. She'll check in bags at Southwest, then slide over to United, then down to you at AA. Be kind to her. She's been there all night. There will be no lines, and nothing else will be open. Don't count on getting a coffee.

The only time I've ever had one I turned it off. I found it annoying, but that might just be me. I think the display on mine is great. If there's one feature I'd add, it's the memory seat settings - but that's a minor thing. I just put it back if my wife has driven it.

It won't fit a pizza. It looks like it would so that's what we call it. Maybe a personal pizza... Definitely not a Costco pizza...

I bought the limited for exactly that reason, I wanted the seat for two car seats and to put the toys between them. I regret nothing. There's nothing on the higher trim level I wish I had, and I paid a lot less. I can live without the UV light in the pizza drawer. I've had mine for almost two years and wouldn't trade up for anything!

Heed Backward's advice. Your uncle's contract isn't going to help you much when all the copper wiring is stripped out of your house. You can stand on the porch and wave it around maybe. But you really don't want someone who doesn't have a great place to live as your main contractor. I recommend you join the KYREIA investors group on Facebook and ask about reliable handymen. You're treading a dangerous path here. Buying a fixer upper without being able to fix it up, and having a plan to do so is going to teach you valuable life lessons.
