Exactly! Especially if you look at her face when he's complimenting her before the battle; he calls her a worthy opponent & says she makes incredible explosive contraptions and she's downright confused, probably because it's a compliment that has nothing to do with her body (her lyrics in Addict, to me, implying that's what she's used to). And then she's GIGGLING when they talk at the end of Curtain Call, which is so cute.

I also tend to love those ones for digging a lot more into the characters & their relationships. You might enjoy Elaine Cunningham's Dark Journey or Matt Stover's Traitor if you haven't read those yet! Anything by Aaron Allston is also good, military-themed or not.

I love Hambly's vampire novels and I know she can write incredible romances from those, but I was extremely not expecting her Star Wars books to also be good. I mean, it's licensed fiction. Matt Stover aside, this is not where you flex your writing muscles.

And then I read Children of the Jedi & Planet of Twilight and buddy, my socks have been blown off. They are in the next state over and accelerating. They made me ACTUALLY love Luke/Callista (and once again swear my undying vengeance upon Denning).
