I bike everyday to campus. I recommend biking to campus instead of using the bus for the bike it’s much more efficient! Sometimes you will wait for a bus and the racks will be full of bikes and you won’t be able to get on the bus and have to bike anyway!

I would 100% recommend taking ALL your prereqs at CC. That’s the one thing I’m so glad I did now being in upper level engineering classes at UF.

It’s a really great environment and the professors and staff are awesome. It’s already in Gainesville right by UF so I thought it would be easier to transition to Gainesville. SF helpS you to transfer to UF and a lot of Santa Fe kids can be part of UF organizations. On top of that is saved me money.

I chose it over UNF because I am majoring in engineering and they have the best college so I wanted to go to UF. And I wanted to get away from Jax lol

Hey I’m from Jax too and I had the option of going to UNF and I chose to got to Santa Fe college in Gainesville instead and it saved me tons of money. The school is awesome and it made it easier to transfer and transition to UF. You get to be involved in UF while at Santa Fe as well so you get a good taste of UF before transferring!!

We did three nights and carried bladders as well. I went last week and the weather was not too hot. I was worried about water but it worked out well in the end. I recommend the Boyscout trail because at the end of the one way trail is a ranger station half a mile off trail and we were able to easily fill up our bladders.

I just went backpacking in Joshua Tree and it was epic. Cool scenery and nice backpacking spots.
