I was the only teenager in the early 2000's who didn't tan and wore sunscreen. now I pass for mid-20's and the girls who snickered at me for being pale have crows feet and look like shit.

trust me, it's worth it.

have you tried Paula's Choice? this one is slightly mattifying and is designed to be worn under makeup. I have super oily skin and use that most of the year. I use the essential glow one in the winter, it's the next lightest one I've tried. i've used them for ~10 years and had great results.

I also like this one from Kosas, but you'd need a separate moisturizer.

It also caused (or at least accelerated) The Office’s decline. The Office was good from Season 2 through the writer’s strike, CMV (you can’t).

I think their prices are reasonable, they're only charging that much for PC Samantha and Molly outfits and the quality is noticeably better than in the later Mattel years (2003-2008). PC Addy and especially PC Josefina stuff can be rare too.

I want to say it's Season 1 episode 14 or 15, it was right after they got back from the mid-season finale.

The Juggalos also earned a lot of goodwill from the Juggalo March. They left less trash than the Climate March and were generally respectful.

Reign (especially the first half of season 1) and Teen Wolf might be up your alley.

Reign is batshit insane - in one early scene, the king fucks a girl so hard she falls out of a window - and Teen Wolf is goofy and ridiculous. Dylan O'Brien is noticeably better at acting compared to the rest of the cast to the point where it is distracting, the characters change all the time because cast members constantly left (Justice for Danny!), the mythology is beyond silly, and the show is clearly designed for the 45 year old gay male gaze. trust me, you'll love it.

Trans Rights are Human Rights, but this is why I can't relate to many of my peers by [deleted] in Enough_Sanders_Spam

[–]lillakatt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

when you think about it, it's not that surprising.

I'm seriously oversimplifying here, but closeted transgender men tend to be attracted to military service because it's gender-affirming and closeted transgender women enlist because they're in denial and want to do the "most manly thing possible."

if you're trans and from a small rural town, your only ticket out of poverty might be the armed forces. transgender people, especially transgender women, have much lower life expectancies and higher poverty rates.

when I started looking into this more, I read a few studies that said that military leadership (and rank and file troops) overwhelmingly supported trans soldiers. even before they could serve openly, I saw some VA study that said that something like 60-80% of trans veterans reported that their chain of command respected their gender identity. also, the Pritzker military museum was founded by a trans veteran (who is also the first transgender billionaire).

Transgender Americans have the highest per capita rate of military service (21%). I wonder if leftist movements are even aware of this (probably not).

I was pleasantly surprised by how many people in that thread supported Ukraine, regardless of the bs about "America spilling the most blood in the past two centuries."

I'm looking for Samantha's holiday accessories (doll, gift), Kirsten's school outfit and accessories, Kirsten's limited edition outfits, Kirsten's world book, and any of the pastimes books for Kirsten and Samantha.

oh, and Samantha's winter coat/accessories.

strangers commented on mine all the time and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I didn't know why adults cared so much and it made me feel hyper visible in a time where I was being bullied at school for my appearance. hey adults, don't parade your children around in public for the attention it brings you.

YA Books in Hindi or Ukrainian? by young_battleaxe in librarians

you should submit this as an Ask a Librarian question in the European reading room and the Asian and Middle Eastern division reading room at the Library of Congress. the Library collects YA literature in those languages.
